Cookie policy
Last updated 28 July 2026.
The short version
This website sets no cookies at all until you choose to accept them, and it sets no advertising or tracking cookies in any circumstances. Our visitor statistics are collected without cookies. If you decline everything, the site works exactly as it otherwise would.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later requests. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job by different means. Where this policy says cookie, it covers those as well.
Cookies used on this site
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and are set without consent, as permitted under the Swedish Electronic Communications Act and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
| dsc_consent | Records the choice you made in the consent banner, so we do not ask again on every page | 12 months |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Confirms the browser accepts cookies during sign in. Only set on the administrator sign in page | Session |
Statistics, set only with your consent
Our statistics run without cookies. We record page views, referring pages, approximate region and browser type, on our own servers in Sweden, using no identifier that persists between visits. Nothing is stored on your device and no third party receives your data. Because the collection itself requires consent under data protection law, it is listed here so that the picture is complete.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
| None | Statistics are collected without cookies or device storage | Not applicable |
Administrator cookies
People who sign in to edit this website receive session and authentication cookies set by WordPress, named wordpress_sec_, wordpress_logged_in_ and wp-settings-. These are never set for ordinary visitors.
Advertising and tracking
None. We run no advertising network, no social media pixels, no cross site tracking and no embedded third party content that would observe you.
Caching
Pages are cached to keep the site fast. Caching stores copies of pages on our servers, not on your device, and involves no cookie for anonymous visitors. Signed in administrators are excluded from the cache, which is the only case in which a cookie affects what is served.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link in the footer to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops statistics collection immediately. It does not affect the lawfulness of collection that already took place.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every current browser allows this, usually under privacy or site settings. Blocking the consent cookie means the banner will appear on every visit, because we have no way to remember your answer.
More detail
Our privacy policy explains what we do with the data behind these cookies, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Questions go to dsc@dacreo.io.
