DSC Inaugural Meeting to Be Held in Japan
The Digital Space Consortium (DSC) will hold its inaugural meeting in Japan from October 14 to 16, 2026 at Mitsubishi Electric Corproation (MELCO) headquarters, next to Tokyo Station.

At this meeting, participants will share their expertise and discuss the future direction of the Digital Space Interface (DSI), with a focus on digitalization and interoperability in space systems.
On October 14 and 15, the meeting will address four key themes:
- Onboard AI and Computing
- Communications and Networking
- Security and Operations
- Commercialization and Deployment
Representatives from leading companies and organizations in each field will deliver presentations on current initiatives, challenges, and future prospects, followed by discussions with participating companies and organizations. Through these discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of the current situation, shared challenges, and future direction toward realizing the DSI, and use these insights to shape the Consortium’s future activities.
On October 16, representatives from participating companies and organizations will take part in a panel discussion on onboard computers. In addition, a networking reception will be held, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives of government ministries, agencies, and other public institutions.
We look forward to meeting you in person, exchanging views, and are confident that this inaugural meeting will serve as a meaningful first step toward productive collaboration within the DSC.
